VISION
Bayles Elementary will be a premier choice school where all students are prepared to be tomorrow's LEADERS.
MISSION
To provide high-quality instruction in a nurturing and equitable environment that equips students with social, emotional, and academic skills to become responsible leaders and life-long learners.
Bayles Elementary was established by the Dallas Independent School District in 1956 and has educated thousands of children in the Ferguson road community for more than 60 years. Bayles' pride and loyalty run deep in this northeast Dallas community. The administration and staff work closely with strong community partnerships to enable the scholars at Bayles to connect with the community and become children who are healthy, safe, engaged, supported, and challenged in all areas of life.
As a Dallas ISD Choice School for Leadership, Bayles Elementary utilizes the Leader in Me® and focuses on preparing every child for 21st-century success by placing high expectations, academic excellence, career/college readiness, and social-emotional development at the forefront of our educational philosophy. We are committed to ensuring our scholars develop the skills to become proactive leaders, effective communicators, role models, creative and critical thinkers, collaborators, self-managers, and goal-directed thinkers.
Our parents have opportunities to volunteer, participate in school activities, and join the PTO. We offer athletics, clubs, an extended day program, and tutoring. Our extended day program includes tutoring, STEM activities, homework assistance, and many engaging activities.
Bayles is a place where stakeholders effectively team up to inspire students to continually achieve and lead.
